Raku cup, hand-thrown, finished, and glazed by hand in The Freaky Raku Studio with a white glaze, showing some brown and gray little dots.

The craquelè lines and the grey unglazed bottom edge result from the smoke which permeates clay during the reduction phase. You can learn more about the process here.

Our ceramic ware is glazed with lead-free and non-toxic glazes, although please take care of its hygiene. Hand wash only, do not put it in the dishwasher.
